Obaasan no Komé
Obaasan no Kome, although translated from Japanese as “Grandmothers of Rice”the project is a photo/video documentary delving into the lives of elderly women 65 years old and older with Asian and Southeast Asian heritage and who continue to work rice fields by hand without modern machinery.
