| 9:30 a.m. – Take bus from Ikebukuro station to Taito City (46 minutes by bus) to Asakusa to visit the Senso-Ji Temple and nearby Asakusa-jinja Shrine | |
| 10:30 a.m. – Visit the Senso-Ji Temple (5 minute walk from where bus will drop you off and nearby Asakusa-jinja Shrine | no admission fee |

| 1:30 p.m. – Walk to the Take the Asakusa, Taito City, subway and take the Ginza Line to Ueno. Walk 6 minutes from station and you are in Ueno | |
