Below is a tentative list of the trip’s full itinerary.

Sunday, June4th
Group Day with all programs
Students meet with faculty leader at the memphis airport at x time (finalized once we know flight time)
Faculty leader is responsbile for making sure all group has arrived
Flight leaves at x time (finalized closer to time)
Monday, June 5th
Group Day with all programs
3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. – Arrival in Tokyo Japan in the afternoon 
5:30 p.m. – Travel agency has bus at the airport and take them off to drop them off at the hostel->see if there is a hostel with a hotel right next to it for faculty members*Travel agency for transportation
6:30 pm – Arrive at hostel and hotel, get checked in and settled
7:00 p.m. – Dinner as group near hostel (for all A-State programs in Japan)

Tuesday, June 6th
GROUP DAY with all programs
8:00 a.m. – GROUP DAY TRIP-Exploring Traditional Tokyo: all students and faculty members will meet in the morning to eat breakfast with all faculty leaders and groups
9:30 a.m. – Take bus from Ikebukuro station to Taito City (46 minutes by bus) to Asakusa to visit the Senso-Ji Temple and nearby Asakusa-jinja Shrine
10:30 a.m. – Visit the Senso-Ji Temple (5 minute walk from where bus will drop you off and nearby Asakusa-jinja Shrineno admission fee
12:00pm Grab lunch nearby Shrines
1:30 p.m. – Walk to the Take the Asakusa, Taito City, subway and take the Ginza Line to Ueno. Walk 6 minutes from station and you are in Ueno
1:35 p.m. – Arrive in Ueno. Take the exit for Ueno-koen Park and walk north across the park to the superb Tokyo National Museum. 
2:15 p.m. – Visit the Tokyo National Museum and explore.Price: Free for university and college students (need A-State ID). Normal ticket, 500 yen ($4)
3:30 p.m. – After visiting the museum, walk south to Tosho-gu Shrine (10 minute walk) and then make your way back to the station.
4:20 p.m.– From the Asakusa Station, take a train to Tokyo Station (16 minutes). 
4:30 p.m. – Arrive in Tokyo station and go to the Bridgestone Museum of Art (AKA Artizon museum)
5:30 p.m. – Walk over to Ginza to have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs
7:00 p.m. – Head back to Tokyo Station to travel to Ikebukuro station (17 minutes)–take Marunouchi line to Ikebukuro
7:30 p.m. – Arrive at Ikebukuro Station

Wednesday, June 7th
Program Day
8:00 a.m. –Students meet with faculty leader to have breakfast
9:30 a.m. – Walk to the Ikebukuro Station and take the Marunouchi line to Ginza. (18 minutes)
10:00 a.m. – Arrive in Ginza and walk 1 minutes to arrive to the Ginza Sony Park to view temporary displays of Sony products
11:00 a.m. – From the Ginza Sony Park, walk 3 minutes to the Sony Showroom and explore
12:00 p.m. – Grab lunch near Showroom
1:00 p.m. – Walk from lunch to the Yurakucho station to take the Train on the Yamanote Line to Shinagawa (11 minutes)
1:20 p.m. – Arrive in Shinagawa and walk 5 minutes to the Sony Corporation Headquarters
1:30 p.m. – Get a tour of the company & have a Q&A session with the company’s manager or working–pending company’s approval
3:30 p.m. – Free afternoon exploring Shinagawa
5:30 p.m. – Meet at the Shinagawa station to head back to Ikebukuro station (11 minutes)
6:00 p.m. Return to Ikebukuro Station

8:00 a.m. – GROUP DAY TRIP – Hakone : All students and faculty members will meet in the morning to eat breakfast at the institution–group taken by agency to HakoneAgency tour
9:30 a.m. – Leave from Ikebukuro to Hakone with agency in bus
12 p.m. – Arrive in Hakone and grab lunch
Visit the open air museum ($15 admission fee, 1600yen)$15 admission fee

Program Day
8:00 a.m. – Students meet with faculty leader to have breakfast 
9:00 a.m. – Students will then travel from the Ikebukuro Station to Tokyo station by subway (16 minutes) you will take the Marunouchi Line to Tokyo. 
9:30 a.m. – Arrive to Tokyo station and walk to NBCUniversal
10:00 a.m. – You will then receive a tour of NBC and the departments along with a Q&A session–pending approval from company
12 p.m. – Get lunch near NBCUniversal
1:30 p.m. – Make your way from lunch to the Tokyo Station. Take Subway from Tokyo station to Shimbashi with the Yamanote line –4 minutes
2:00 p.m. – Arrive in Yamamote and walk to Dentsu Innovation partners building (6 minutes)
2:20 p.m. – Receive tour from Dentsu Innovation Partners along with a Q&A session for students and faculty with a worker from Dentsu—pending approval from company
4:00 p.m. – Walk back from Dentsu Innovation partners bulding to the Shimbashi Station to head back to Ikebukuro Station (subway 30 minutes by Marunouchi Line)
4:30 p.m. – Arrive back in Ikebukuro

8:00 a.m. – Students meet with faculty leader to have breakfast
9:00 a.m. – Go to Ikebukuro station to travel to Nezu (25 minutes by subway). Take the Yamanote line from Ikebukuro to Nishi-nippori. Change trains to take the Chiyoda line from Nishi-nippori to Nezu
9:30 a.m. – Arrive in Nezu and walk 10 minutes to Tokyo University of the Arts
10:30 a.m. – Have tour of university along with a Q&A session from the university tour guide–pending approval from university
11:30 p.m. – Have lunch at university with other media and film students at the university
12:30 p.m. – Have the opportunity to observe an arts and media film course (if available in english)-pending approval from institution
1:30 p.m. – Have the opportunity to observe their graduate school for film design–pending approval from university
Travel back from Tokyo University of Arts to the Nezu Station (10 minutes by walk)
2:00 p.m. – Go from Nezu Station to Ikebukuro Station (25 minutes)
2:30 p.m. – Arrive in Ikebukuro
3:00 p.m. – Meet to reflect on what students learned at the institution

8:00 a.m. – GROUP DAY TRIP – Yokohama: All students and faculty members will meet in the morning to eat breakfast near the institution
9:30 a.m. – From Ikebukuro Station go 40 minutes by train on the Shonan-Shinjuku Line to go to Yokohama (60 minutes)
11:00 a.m. – Arrive in Yokohama. 
11:30 a.m. – Walk from Yokohama station to Yamashita park. 
11:40 a.m. – After enjoying the view, walk to Landmark tower-2nd tallest building in Japan (23 minute walk)1,000 yen ($10)–if students want to go into the landmark tower
12:30 p.m. Walk around the minato mirari across the street from the landmark tower
12:50 p.m. – After vising the Minato Mirari, walk to the Nissan car gallery (14 minute walk) – If students would like to visit they can.

1:30 p.m. – Visit the Shin-yokohama ramen museum – famous in Japan380 yen ($4)
2:30 p.m. – Have lunch
Enjoy walking in the park all the way to Chinatown (27 minute walk)
2:50 p.m. – Explore China town
5:00 p.m. – Go back to Yokohama station and head back to Ikebukuro
6:00 p.m. – Arrive back to Ikebukuro Station

Program Day
8:00 a.m. – Students meet with faculty leader to have breakfast
9:00 a.m. – Group heads to the Ikebukuro station to take subway to Shibuya 16 minutes by subway). Take the Fukutoshin Line from Ikebukuro to Shibuya
9:30 a.m. – See the famous Shibuya crossing as you leave the station
9:35 a.m. – Walk from the Shibuya station to the NHK broadcast center (10 minutes by walk)
10:00 a.m. – Receive a tour of the NHK broadcast center along with Q&A session from company’s worker – Pending approval from company
11:30 p.m. – Have lunch near NHK broadcast center
12:30 p.m. – After lunch, walk down the street to NHK publishing (3 minutes by walk)
1:00 p.m. – Receive tour of the NHK publishing building as well as learn how NHK broadcast and publishing work together and have a Q&A session with company’s working – Pending approval from company
2:30 p.m. – Have free afternoon exploring Shibuya
5:00 p.m. – Meet at the Shibuya station to travel back as a group to Ikebukuro Station
5:30 p.m. – Arrive at Ikebukuro Station

Travel from the Ikebukuro station to the Roppongi-itchome station (40 minutes)–Take the marunouchi line from Ikebukuro to Kokkai-gijidomae. Walk 16 minutes and arrive in roppongi-itchome station
9:00 a.m. – Arrive in Roppongi-itchome station and walk to the TBS television station (15 minutes)
9:30 a.m. – Receive tour of television station along with Q&A session for students and faculty with worker at TBS -pending approval from station
11:30 a.m. – Have lunch near TBS station
12:30 p.m. – Walk back to the Roppongi-itchome station (19 minutes) to take subway to the Todaimae station (15 minutes)
2:00 p.m. – Arrive to Todaimae station and walk to the University of Tokyo (2 minutes)
2:30 p.m. – Receive tour at University of Tokyo-within media department along with Q&A session for students and faculty with worker at institution
3:30 p.m. – Head back to the Todaimae station (2 minutes)
4:00 p.m. – Take subway from Todaimae station to Ikebukuro Station (18 minutes) – Take the Namboku line from Todaimae to Korakuen. You will then take the Marunouchi line from Korakuen to Ikebukuro
4:30 p.m. – Arrive in Ikebukuro

8:00 a.m. – Students meet with faculty leader to have breakfast
9:00 a.m. – Head to the Ikebukuro station to Shimbashi station. (30 minutes by train-Take the yamanote line towards shinagawa for 28 minutes to reach shimbashi) 
9:30 a.m. – Walk from Shimbashi station to the Nippon Television network (2 minutes by walk)
10:30 a.m. – Tour  Nippon television network along with a Q&A session from students and faculty with worker of Nippon–pending approval from company
12:00 p.m. – Have lunch near Nippon Television Network
1:00 p.m. – After lunch, walk from Nippon Television Network  to Canon marketing digital house -19 minutes walk
1:30 p.m. – Receive tour from canon marketing company along with Q&A from worker of Canon-pending company’s approval
3:00 p.m. – Have time to explore area such as: Hama Rikyu Gards, Tokyo Tower, Zojo-ji temple
5:00 p.m. – Meet back at the Shimbashi station to travel together to the Ikebukuro station

Program Day
8:00 a.m. – Students meet with faculty leader to have breakfast
9:30 a.m. – Go to the Ikebukuro station to Shinagawa Station by train (30 minutes) travel to go visit Sega Holding corporation. 
10:30 a.m. – Arrive in Shinagawa station after taking the yamanote line from Ikebukuro to Osaki (shinagawa will be one stop before Osaki)
Walk from the Shinagawa station to Sega Holding corporation. 
11:00 a.m. – Receive a tour of Sega Holding corporation departments by worker and have time for Q &A from students and faculty –pending approval of company
12:00 p.m. – Have lunch near Sega
1:30 p.m. – Head back to Shinagawa station to travel to Hamamatsucho station (10 minutes by train) Take the Keihin-tohoku/negishi line to Hamamatucho. 
1:45 p.m. – Arrive at Hamamatucho station and walk 16 minutes to Tokyo Tower1200 yen per person ($11) to go in Tokyo Tower
3:00 p.m. – Walk to the Fuijitsu World Trade center across the street from Tokyo Tower
3:30 p.m. – Visit the Fuijitsu World Trade Center and receive tour along with a Q&A from company
4:30 p.m. – Travel back to the Hamamatucho station to travel back to Ikebukuro Station (30 minutes by subway)
5:00 p.m. – Arrive to Ikebukuro Station
